Roland de VILLEPIN

Elected judge at the Paris Commercial Court in October 2015

Roland de Villepin began his career at the Ministry of Finance as an economist at the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).

After a stint at the National Forestry Office (ONF), Roland de Villepin took on the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer of La Française des Jeux (FDJ), in charge of the group's financial and regulatory activities. In this context, he was a member of the international executive committee of Euromillions.

Roland de Villepin is a graduate of Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Science Po) and of the Graduate School of Economics, Statistics and Finance (ENSAE) of Paris. He also holds a master's degree in economics from the University of Paris II.

He taught economics at Sciences Po Paris and public finance at ENSAE.

He was elected a judge at the Paris Commercial Court in October 2015.
